“Thank you but only one of us could win.” Seth said sadly. They both faced the facts before. Only one winner. Odds were that neither of them would win but one of them could. He wanted it to be her, she wanted it to be him. One thing they agreed on was that neither of them wanted to go home without the other. “I don’t plan on dieing anytime soon though.”
“And if you two are the last ones standing? What will happen then?” She asked.
“Then she’s going to win.” He said remembering there conversation. She knew very well that he was serious. She freaked out. He wasn’t going to win if they were the last ones. He wouldn’t let himself win. “But odds are that we wont be.”
“And what makes you believe that too?” She asked, leaning against the table as she watched his expression closely.
